sleep when it is dark
wake when it is light
flapjacks
card games
walks
braided hair
lanterns in the evening
dishes
wool pants
boots
sweater
long kisses
stars. brilliant brilliant stars.
glass of wine
dinner in the oven
more stars
knitting
puzzles
a.m radio
rocking just waking pink cheeked baby in the chair by the fire
gathering
hand ground coffee
window to the fox
bouncy beds
memories
pencil and paper
laughter
mittens
fires
just a million things

but the pace is quick today in town and so i write this in one minute!
sometimes that is the best way.
right now i long to connect to the pace waiting up north
...mountains and mornings waiting to be enjoyed,
stars waiting to be counted
creek water waiting to splash my face
...we will be there soon!
Sounds perfect Sarah ~ have a wonderful time!!
